Jacqueline Caux is an independent filmmaker and producer of documentary films. She lives and works in Paris. She curated the exhibition "Anna Halprin - At the Origin of Performance" (2006) in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon and the Yerba Buena Museum of San Francisco (2008), as well as the exhibition "1976-2011, Return to Einstein on the Beach by Philip Glass and Robert Wilson, 35 years after Avignon" at the Museum of Fine Arts of Orléans, Montpellier and Paris. From 1997 to 2006, she collaborated to the magazine art press. Her award-winning documentary films have been screened at numerous international festivals. Among the latest: Contes de Symphonie Déchirée (2010), Les Couleurs du prisme, la mécanique du temps - From John Cage to techno (2009) and The Cycles of The Mind Machine (2006). She is the author of several essays: A L'Origine de la Performance - Anna Halprin (2006), Tissée, tendue au fil des jours la toile de Louise Bourgeois (2003) and Presque rien with Luc Ferrari (2002).
