KIM JONG-UN's Pyongyang Style
 
Après "Gangnam Style", le succès mondial K-pop sud-coréen de Park Jae-sang a.k.a. Psy, c'est au tour du nord-coréen Kim Jong-un, a.k.a. "le roi de l'étoile du matin", de plonger la terre dans une torpeur spatiale. Le nom de sa performance orbitale : "Pyongyang Style", lancée moins de 10 jours avant la supposée fin du monde.
 
Mercredi 12 décembre 2012, à 9h51 (heure de Pyongyang), depuis la base de lancement de satellite de Sohae, province de Pyongan du Nord, le gouvernement nord-coréen a procédé au tir de la fusée Galaxy 3 (Unha 3_은하 3호) avec à son bord le satellite Kwangmyongsong 3 (광명성3호).
 
«Selon les indications initiales, le missile a déployé un objet qui s'est placé en orbite», dixit NORAD.

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - North American Aerospace Defense Command officials acknowledged today that U.S. missile warning systems detected and tracked the launch of a North Korean missile at 7:49 p.m. EST. The missile was tracked on a southerly azimuth. Initial indications are that the first stage fell into the Yellow Sea. The second stage was assessed to fall into the Philippine Sea. Initial indications are that the missile deployed an object that appeared to achieve orbit. At no time was the missile or the resultant debris a threat to North America.
